What we do · 08 service lines

One crew for the whole envelope.

From the ridge line down to the downspouts. And when a repair will genuinely do the job, we’ll say so — not sell you a roof.

Premium roofs · Lasting protection

More than just shingles. It’s a system.

On a roof replacement we install the complete IKO roofing system — four components designed to work together, from the deck to the peak.

  1. 01

    IKO Shingles

Beautiful, durable, and built for performance.

  2. 02

    Synthetic Underlayment

A synthetic layer across the entire roof deck — a second line of defense beneath the shingles.

  3. 03

    IKO Ridge Cap

Keeps your roof sealed at the peak, where it matters most.

  4. 04

    IKO StormShield

Self-adhering protection at the eaves and valleys, where wind-driven rain gets in first.

Built stronger with the IKO roofing system.

Before you sign anything

The Hartman standard.

Here is exactly what you get from us, in plain words — hold us to it.

  1. A real estimate, free.

We come out, measure, and give you a clear written estimate. No invoice afterwards, and no obligation to buy anything.

  2. A scope you can actually read.

A written, line-item proposal you can compare against anyone else's — and keep, whatever you decide.

  3. Repair when repair will do.

Leak diagnosis and targeted repair, not an automatic upsell. If you don't need a new roof yet, you'll hear that from us first.

  4. Three business days to change your mind.

Sign a contract at your home and you can cancel it within three business days. We put that in writing, not in fine print.

  5. Two warranties, explained apart.

The manufacturer warrants the materials; we warrant the workmanship. Different documents, different terms — explained before you sign.

  6. See it for yourself. It costs nothing.

    How the free estimate works

How it works

Six steps. No surprises.

Including the part most contractors leave out: you have three business days to cancel a contract signed at your home.

  1. A short conversation about what is happening — an active leak, a storm you are worried about, or a roof you know is old. Photos help if you have them, and they are optional. If water is coming in now, say so: that changes the order we schedule in.

Who you’re hiring

The person on your roof.

Here is exactly who is doing the work, and where the experience comes from.

  1. Chapter 01

    Where the experience comes from

A family-owned company backed by more than 30 years of residential construction and homebuilding experience within our ownership team.

  2. Chapter 02

    What that work looked like

Homebuilding, general contracting, project management, skilled trades and structural systems — so we look at a roof as part of the entire home, not simply a roof covering.

  3. Chapter 03

    Why Hartman exists

Quality work, straightforward communication, fair pricing and personal accountability. Our owners are directly involved, and our family name is on every project.

Questions

Straight answers.

The things homeowners actually ask us. If yours isn’t here, call — or open the chat in the corner.

It depends on the age of the roof and whether the failure is localised. A ten-year-old roof with a leak at a pipe boot is a repair. A twenty-year-old three-tab roof with granule loss across the whole south slope is not worth repairing. We come out, look at what the job needs, and give you a written estimate for the right one — including when the answer is that you do not need us yet.
